What to do during your Adventure Elopement in North Carolina
So you decided to elope… yay!! But you can’t figure out how you could possibly fill a whole day for your adventure elopement. Elopements have been known to be quick and short, but no matter the size of your wedding, you still deserve the full wedding day experience!! Eloping gives you MORE freedom to do whatever you want on your wedding day. The options are endless, which is amazing, but can also be overwhelming at times. Here are some adventure elopement ideas to help you get started!!
1. Go Hiking
Western North Carolina is full of stunning trails perfect for elopements. Whether you want to hike less than a mile or 5 miles, there’s an option for you!!
2. Watch the Sunrise/Sunset
Imagine waking up to beautiful mountain views at sunrise with a cup of coffee in hand or hiking up to a breathtaking view of the sunset to end your day.
3. Have a Picnic
Pack a picnic basket or backpack, and to the beach or up a trial for a picnic!!

Sitting around a campfire is my favorite way to end an elopement day!! It’s the perfect way to unwind and reflect on the amazing day you just had.
7. Ride a Ski Lift/Gondola
Head to your favorite ski mountain and take a gondola to the top!! This couple took a gondola up to their ceremony spot, and said their vows with the beautiful White Mountains in the background.
8. Go Ziplining or Skydiving
This one is for the extra adventurous couples out there!! Imagine jumping out of a plane or taking a zip line through a beautiful forest.
9. Go Stargazing
End your day dancing together under the stars, what could be more perfect than that?
10. Book an Airbnb
