One of the biggest priorities Jess had for her wedding day was to be able to walk into her ceremony relaxed and stress-free. Her and her fiancé Mike decided to have an intimate wedding at sunset with just their close friends and family, so we planned a morning for just the two of them to enjoy together before the ceremony. We started the day with a short hike on the Blue Ridge Parkway, where they could be fully present with each other. There’s nothing more peaceful than surrounding yourself by big and beautiful mountains.
After portraits and a relaxing morning in the mountains, they met their family at an easily-accessible spot with beautiful views for their ceremony. Jess & Mike said their vows as leaves fell from the trees and the sun set behind the mountains. After their ceremony, we headed to Reverie Events in Asheville for a night of dinner and dancing.
Despite the 3 locations and many moving parts of their day, this was one of the most relaxed elopement days I’ve been a part of. Here are some key takeaways that you can apply to your own wedding:
