Elizabeth & Jose’s Fall Forest Elopement in North Carolina

I just love Elizabeth & Jose, there’s so much I could say about their day!! When I opened my inbox to read “I just want a fairytale day with the love of my life that feels like a Taylor Swift song” in Elizabeth’s inquiry, I had a feeling that it would be the start of not only a beautiful wedding day, but a cherished friendship as well.

We started their day getting ready at their Airbnb in Hendersonville, where Elizabeth had the Era’s Tour Movie playing in the background (of course!), and it truly felt like I was just one of the girls singing along and documenting little moments as everyone got ready. Once they were ready, we headed on a drive down the parkway to Pisgah National Forest, for a hike & private vows. We started with their first look near the trailhead – this gorgeous spot with tall evergreen trees – very folklore-esque!! Then, we headed up the trail and they chose their own spot to exchange vows while soaking up the vast mountain views. After their private morning together in the mountains, we headed back to Hendersonville for their intimate ceremony with their close family, and ended the day with first dances & dinner.

I wish I could re-live this day with them over and over again. I especially loved their silly and unserious nature that made the day easy-going, full of laughs, and so so fun.
