Caitlin & Katie knew they wanted to get married with loved ones, while also including time for a hike and private vows just the two of them. They chose Asheville Botanical Gardens for their ceremony so that it was easily accessible for their guests, and started their day with a hike on the Blue Ridge Parkway for a peaceful morning with incredible views.
Ceremony at Asheville Botanical Garden
After the hike, we met their family & friends at Asheville Botanical Garden for their official ceremony. Asheville Botanical Garden has multiple different wedding locations, and the gazebo is definitely my favorite! It’s a beautiful ceremony backdrop with 6 benches for a small group of guests.
Elopement Planning Tip: If you’re hoping to get married with a small group of your loved ones without sacrificing the beautiful scenery of a mountain elopement, that’s exactly the type of day that I help each of my couples achieve! Caitlin & Katie’s combination of a morning hike, followed by a ceremony with guests at an easily accessible spot is one of the best ways to have the best of both worlds!
Wedding Dinner at Strada Italiano
They ended the day at Strada Italiano in downtown Asheville, for a celebratory dinner on their private patio. It was the perfect space for a couple speeches from their family members and a relaxed dinner as the sun set.
